lyrics

Good Morning America
Written by Abigayle Rose

I used to think if we knew better
Somehow, we would do better
Still there’s too much hate
working in this world today
So I read books to make my mind a little stronger
Meditate and try to pray a little longer
But love without action
is just a dream state
I’m so tired of sleepwalking
Pushing aside nightmares
We don’t wanna see
CHORUS
Good morning America
It’s time to wake up
Alarm clocks have rung
The world needs our love
Good morning America
Every news flash, there’s a heart that needs healing
Still we pay no mind to human feeling
Children are starving, policy alarming
Pour that in your coffee cup
I’m so tired of sleepwalking
Pushing aside nightmares
We don’t wanna see
CHORUS
Good morning America
It’s time to wake up
alarm clocks have rung
The world needs our love
Good morning America
Good morning America
It’s time to wake up
alarm clocks have rung
The world needs our love
Good morning America
BRIDGE:
Close your eyes picture
A world like paradise
Heaven on earth
It’s our divine
Journey to see this through
CHORUS
Good morning America
It’s time to wake up
alarm clocks have rung
The world needs our love
Good morning America
Good morning America
It’s time to wake up
alarm clocks have rung
The world needs our love
Good morning America
