I was in Calcutta to see Baba (P.R. Sarkar). We learned the Prabha Samgiit that Baba was writing in those days to sing for him when he in and out of his house. One late and beautiful evening we were at his house in the beauty of the moonlit garden. We were singing this song for him when he returned from his late night fieldwork. After we sang it, He stopped in front of me and said the meaning of the chorus in English:
“You are, You are, You are, Oh Lord, I am and also the Universe exists.”
I have also written in my notes that he said about this song:
"All are moving realities. Only You are the Supreme reality.”
This universe exists.
The atoms exists.
The vast cosmos exists.
I move from flower to flower.
I move everywhere to taste Your sweetness.
I discover the source of all sweetness in You and Your greatness.
You are the sweetness of the moon.
You are the sweetness of the distant stars.
Whatever You do,
You do without attachment to good or bad.
